Are you ready for a nice unsupported bike packing adventure? A two-day event to be done alone or in company to admire the beauty of our territory.

The 1st edition of the "Randogravel Mare & Monti" starts from the beautiful Ca' Corniani farm in Caorle. We will go to the mountains passing through woods and dirt road that is easy to travel. We will pass through Portobuffolè, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and then conquer through a first hilly stretch the castle of Caneva, where you can resume your forces enjoying a beautiful view.

You will descend towards the Palù di Livenza to admire the source of the Livenza, the Serenissima with its emerald green waters. We will reach the springs of the Gorgazzo through a beautiful path inside the forest, and then reach Polcenigo another village among the most beautiful in Italy, from here you will climb again on the Colle di San Floriano with a wonderful park. Technical descent but not too demanding to reach a nice uphill ramp.

From here you will continue to the castle of Aviano, with a panoramic view, and then reach Montereale Valcellina. Here you will be waiting for a spectacle of nature: Lake Ravedis seen from above, with unique and bright colors.

Then continue along a trail (downhill) towards the Magredi short but challenging it is advisable to do it on foot, quiet is only 280meters long and then the most suggestive part of the entire route will arrive, where you will find yourself cycling for 20 km in the Friulian steppe, in a gravelly and arid area reminiscent of the lunar landscape.

We will continue along the Tagliamento between dirt roads and secondary roads to reach Valvasone with its Castle and to follow San Vito al Tagliamento, Portogruaro and then take the long-awaited road to the sea. You will enter the historic center of Caorle passing through narrow streets, and then admire the characteristic fishermen's casoni in Falconera. Following the coast you will reach the Mort lagoon, a protected naturalistic oasis, for a last fun passage in the pine forest, before returning towards the arrival, where you can toast in company.

It is advisable to stay in the Aviano / Montereale Valcellina area there are many facilities on Booking and Airbeb. For all those who wish to break the route on two days we attach some accommodation facilities. From departure the accommodations will be between 140 and 160km with 90% of the expected difference in height.
