Gravel Grit n Grind is a three day stage race in Halmstad, a city located on the western border in the south of Sweden in between Gotenborg and Malmo.  Only the event on Saturday counts as official qualifier event for the UCI Gravel World Series. It´s possible to do a single race, two stages or the full three day stage race.

Gravel Grit n Grind is a three days stage race with a 23km time trial on Friday, a long gravel race on Saturday and a shorter gravel race on Sunday.  There is an overall competition over the three days.

Only the event on Saturday counts as official qualifier event for the UCI Gravel World Series.  The race starts along the Nissan river in Halmstad’s Norre Katts Park but will rapidly take the riders out on the countryside. After 10 km there is a hill that can blow some steam in the peloton. The course is a mix of countryside and forests. There are a lot of short hills in the course. After some time in the inner countryside the riders will go back to Halmstad on more open fields. The finish is again in the Norre Katts Park in Halmstad.

The race splits in two in a shorter 92km course and a longer 124km course.  The 92km is the qualifier distance for all men 60+ and women 50+ while the longer course fits as qualifier for the younger age groups.  Both distances have the same start and finish with a shortcut after 55km to rejoin the long course after 96km (64km on the mediofondo).
