The Bogus Basin Hill Climb started in 1972, making it the third oldest continuously running hill climb in the United States. Join us on July 13th 2026 to help make the next 50 years just as special. 
 
Climbing 4,314 feet in 18 and a half miles, the bogus basin hill climb is a challenge undertaken by thousands of Boiseans over the last five decades. Join riders of all stripes, from Olympians and Tour de France riders to regular Janes and Joes as we celebrate one of the many things that makes Boise awesome!

Neutral Roll Out From Greenwoods north on Bogus Basin Road with BPD Escort. Rolling Start at Intersection of Curling (We continue moving there is not a stop Then Start) Finish at Pioneer Lodge Parking lot (100 yards before the lodge on the right).

Participant Raffle Prizes will be announced as we have them! Easy To Carry Down the Mountain!

It will include products from Industry9, Lazer, Specialized, and more!

They will post more about specific prizes on our socials as we get closer to the event!

Rules - Must be present to win. We’ll do a small raffle drawing 11 am. Anyone who hasn’t finished yet will be entered into the drawing automatically .Stick around, have some waffles, breakfast burritos and snacks and cheer on all the finishers, to have a chance at awesome prizes.

Difficulty of Greatest Route: D - Difficult terrain with longer, steeper hills

Costs

$45 until June 13th. Price increase to $50. June 27th price increase to $55 

What's Included?

Police escort. Partial road closure. Aid stations, snacks and expo at top of the mountain.

Friday Before Hill Climb at George's 3rd/Front Street Location 4-6pm

Saturday Night at Boise Twilight Criterium Turn 1 (6th and Jefferson) 5-8pm

Sunday Morning 6am to 7:30am
