On to the 2027 Gravel World Championship!

In the heart of Baixo Alentejo, between imposing landscapes and trails that challenge the senses, Ourique is once again the epicenter of gravel in Portugal. The 2nd edition of the Alentejo Gravel will take place on October 25, 2026 and is officially part of the qualifying circuit for the 2027 Gravel World Championship.

This event will bring together some of the best national and international athletes in a demanding, exciting event designed for those looking for adventure, technique and endurance. Starting and ending in Ourique, the route will take participants along dirt roads, rural paths and authentic scenery of the region, on a route that promises excitement from the first to the last kilometer.

Open to federated and non-federated athletes, and prepared to receive cyclists of various age groups, this edition guarantees a balanced, challenging and high-level competition. In addition to the sports component, the public will be able to enjoy a dedicated area for socializing, catering, exhibitors and activities for all ages — transforming the day into a true festival dedicated to gravel and cycling.
