Kettle Mettle is proud to offer what many riders consider the best on-site camping experience of any fondo in British Columbia, making the 10th edition of the event on June 20, 2026 more convenient and enjoyable than ever. Located directly at the Princeton Rodeo Grounds, riders can stay just steps from the start and finish line with full amenities and a relaxed, community atmosphere.

About the 10th Edition of Kettle Mettle Dirty Fondo

The 2026 event marks the 10th edition of the Kettle Mettle Dirty Fondo — the oldest Gravel Fondo in Western Canada and the second round of the Triple Crown of Gravel. Widely regarded as one of the most scenic gravel events in North America, the course showcases the historic Kettle Valley Rail Trail through the breathtaking Similkameen Valley.

Riders will experience sweeping grassland valleys, panoramic mountain views, crystal-clear lakes, and the iconic switchbacks of the Kettle Valley Trail — all within a safe, supported, and challenging ride.

2026 Event Distances

Piccolo / Beginner Fondo — Approx. 25 km Start/Finish: Princeton, BC Ideal for beginner to intermediate riders.

Medio Fondo — Approx. 60 km Start/Finish: Princeton, BC Optimal for beginner to intermediate riders.

Full Fondo — Approx. 100 km Start/Finish: Princeton, BC Designed for intermediate to expert riders.

All routes start and finish at the Princeton Rodeo Grounds, with multiple aid stations, mechanical support, flat-repair assistance, and first aid available throughout the course. After the ride, participants can enjoy warm food and a cold beverage.
