2026 Sea2Sky Gravel Fondo and BC Provincial Gravel Championships Results: Holly Henry and Nathan Pruner take Victory
The 2026 Sea2Sky Gravel Fondo delivered a spectacular day of racing in Squamish, with riders tackling the rugged gravel roads of the Sea to Sky Corridor across three distances. The event also hosted the inaugural BC Provincial Gravel Championships, adding extra intensity to an already challenging course.

Riders were greeted by a beautiful, sunny Sunday morning in Squamish, BC, setting the stage for an incredible day of gravel riding—and the Inaugural Cycling BC Gravel Championships!
Although the morning started off a little chilly, temperatures quickly warmed as the sun climbed above the surrounding mountains, creating fantastic riding conditions throughout the day.
The action kicked off just before 8:00 a.m. with the start of the Full Fondo (90 km), followed by the Medio Fondo and Beginner Fondo riders as they set out to tackle their respective routes.
In the 85 km Full course, Nathan Pruner of Vancouver powered to a commanding victory in 2:42:55, ahead of fellow Vancouver rider Paul Moffat and Garibaldi Highlands’ Alexander Ham.
The women’s race saw a standout performance from Victoria’s Holly Henry, who climbed aggressively and held off North Vancouver’s Emma Boggio, with Sofia Donnecke of Victoria completing the podium.
The Medio course produced a tight battle at the front, with Vancouver’s Uli Mayer edging Richmond’s Martin Hauck by just 30 seconds, followed by Dean Brandt in third. North Vancouver swept the women’s podium, led by Andrea Gray, ahead of Alexandra Smyth and Rebecca Fletcher.
In the Piccolo distance, Langley’s Shane Tyson and Parksville’s Gryphon Hodgson delivered the closest finish of the day, separated by only three seconds. Melanie Levesque of Whistler dominated the women’s race with a strong solo ride, followed by Vancouver’s Deirdre Kelly and Delta’s Tamara Woolgar.
The feedback from riders across all three distances was overwhelmingly positive, with participants praising the scenic courses, challenging gravel roads, and excellent riding conditions. From seasoned gravel racers competing for a BC Championship title to first-time fondo riders, everyone enjoyed a memorable day exploring the gravel roads and trails surrounding Squamish.
At the finish line, riders were welcomed back with warm pizza, cold beverages, and plenty of time to relax in the park, share stories, and celebrate their accomplishments with friends, family, and fellow
cyclists.
