Registration Still Open for the 2026 Bend Dirt Fest Gravel in Oregon

Registration is now open for the 2026 Bend Dirt Fest Gravel, returning to Bend, Oregon on July 11 as part of the Oregon Triple Crown Series. Produced by Mudslinger Events and presented by Bicycle Accident Law, the Bend Dirt Fest brings together gravel cyclists, mountain bikers, and trail runners for a full-day celebration of endurance, community, and Central Oregon’s outdoor culture.

The event begins at the Athletic Club of Bend, where participants can choose between MTB, Gravel, or Trail Run categories. The gravel race starts at 8:00 AM, followed by the mountain bike and trail run at 8:30 AM. Athletes may compete individually or form teams of four, with creative team names encouraged to add to the festival atmosphere. The Bend Dirt Fest is designed to be accessible and inclusive, offering a high-quality race experience without the high price tag often associated with major summer events. Women are especially supported through equal podiums and awards, women-specific apparel and swag, menstrual products at aid stations, women on the start line, and a pregnancy and postpartum policy.

2nd Bend Dirt Fest, a dirt-filled celebration of endurance and community

Last year’s inaugural Bend Dirt Fest exceeded expectations, attracting more than 120 competitors to the scenic trails of the Deschutes National Forest. Despite only a few months of planning, the event delivered a half-marathon trail run, a 54-mile gravel grinder, and a 36-mile mountain bike course. The gravel race featured nearly 4,000 feet of climbing in the first 30 miles, while the mountain bike course packed more than 3,000 feet of elevation into the opening 22 miles.

Matthew Bird of Adelaide, Australia, claimed the men’s gravel win in 2:35:08.4, while Kristina Gray of Sherwood secured the fastest women’s gravel time at 3:16:24.2. In the mountain bike category, Bend local Joe Giannetto took victory in 2:21:33.6, finishing nearly seven minutes ahead of his closest competitor, and Maya Holzman, also from Bend, recorded the fastest women’s MTB time at 3:03:41.

The result is a full-day celebration that reflects Bend’s vibrant outdoor spirit and the adventurous culture of Central Oregon.

Spectators are encouraged to walk or bike to the venue, where the lower lot will close at 8:00 AM to create a dedicated festival zone. After completing their timed segments, racers will return to the Athletic Club of Bend for a ceremonial finish featuring live music, a DJ, finisher and age-group awards, and cold brews from 10 Barrel Brewing.

The result is a full-day celebration that reflects Bend’s vibrant outdoor spirit and the adventurous culture of Central Oregon.
