Farm to Fork Fondo Present Stages Segment Challenge

Stages Cycling and Wrenegade Sports have partnered together to present the Farm to Fork Fondo Stages Segment Challenge and to publish educational training tips and tricks for cyclists

Farm to Fork Fondo is a non-competitive cycling event series organized by Wrenegade Sports where riders of all levels come together to celebrate local farms and healthy living. The partnership with Stages Cycling will allow Farm to Fork Fondo participants to test their abilities at this year’s events and to improve their training throughout the year by using the training tips.

The Stages Segment Challenge features course segments of higher difficulty that requires riders to use the Ride With GPS app to test their abilities. “Achieving goals highlights the benefit of our products,” said Matt Pacocha, Global Marketing Director of Stages Cycling, “and that’s why we’re a proud sponsor of the Farm to Fork Fondo Segment Challenge.”  The challenge gives the Farm to Fork Fondo Series a competitive edge for those who choose to participate. The Ride With GPS app records a participant's time during the challenge. The times are then ranked and separated into six categories based on age and gender to see which riders were fastest. The male and female cyclists with the fastest times win the coveted Farm to Fork Fondo polka-chicken jersey by Pactimo. One participant of the Stages Segment Challenge at each event will be picked at random to win a Stages Cycling Power meter.

Stages Cycling and Wrenegade Sports are also collaborating to publish training plans and educational content on FarmToForkFondo.com that cyclists can use to improve their abilities. The tips and tricks will be written by Power Education Specialist Benjamin Sharp, who helped develop endurance programs for USA Cycling. “Stages’ dedication to setting and achieving goals aligns perfectly with Wrenegade Sports’ core mission to provide achievable challenges for athletes of all abilities,” said Tyler Wren, Founder of Wrenegade Sports and the Farm to Fork Fondo series. “We’re excited to work together both at this year’s events and on content that our participants can use year round.” Whether it’s to prepare for the Stages Segment Challenge or just to make the most of a ride, the training plans and tips can be used by anyone looking to improve.

To take part in the Stages Segment Challenge, cyclists may register for any of the six Farm to Fork Fondo events and download the Ride With GPS app.
