Gran Fondo World Tour® is pleased to announce that it has selected Gran Fondo Guide as its official online digital media marketing partner
The world's premer Gran Fondo and Endurance cycling website, Gran Fondo Guide and Gran Fondo World Tour ® have signed an agreement to work together on the promotion of the growing Gran Fondo World Tour Series, with a combined subscriber base of over 40,000 cyclists, promoting the best Gran Fondo events around the world.

Gran Fondo World Tour ® Series Format
The world tour Is open to all cyclists, whatever their level. It is necessary to finish at least 2 events of the world tour to be considerated in the final season rankings.
All participants and finishers in one event will be ranked but minimum of 2 events finished is required to access to final awards.
The best of 3 results will be taken in to account in the final season ranking.
A ranking for men and for woman are established under similar rules.
There are also category rankings but only the overall ranking men and woman will be awarded.
Gran Fondo World Tour ® Series to Expand beyond 2017
Due to the success of the inaugural worldwide series, plans are in place for it to expand from 2017 onwards.
Gran Fondo World Tour ® Series CEO Dani Buyo said "the plan is for around 10 races in 2017, with expansion into Australia, Africa and South America. We are also considering a mountain bike series along the same lines".
Buyo has received enquiries from a number of events that are interested and is planning to expand the road based Gran Fondo series to around 12 events in 2018.
