APRIL 26 ~ Dufur, OR

1 day, 47 - 97 miles, 3,500-8,500 feet of climbing

Dust off your saddle and get ready for this early season, spring gravel grinder. Test your fitness and start your path of preparation for the Grand Tour of Gravel of the Oregon Trail Gravel Grinder.  This one-day event offers three distance options, remarkable views, and buttery smooth roads- perfect for the first-time rider, experienced gravel guru, and elite cyclist alike!

Three Routes: Small 47 miles (3,588 feet), Medium 66 miles (5309 feet), Long 97 miles (8407 feet)

 

Gorge Gravel - APRIL 26 2026 ~ Dufur, OR

Gorge Gravel is the perfect early spring event for everyone testing their fitness coming out of the winter with beautiful views post-ride celebration based in Oregon's gem of gravel, Dufur with amazing RV and Tent camping in the City Park.  

Expect average temps to be in the mid 40’s by race start and up into the mid 60’s by the peak of the day. Gravel sections are well packed, smooth and fast. Spring rains provide good moisture keeping the dust down. No portion of the courses exceeds double digits for climbing or descending. Just a lot of fast rolling hills.

Saturday pre-race celebrations in the park include shake-out rides, packet pickup, fun games, music, Castelli Cornhole Tournament, Fat Tire Beer Bar, and BBQ supporting the local community of Dufur through the Ranger Pride Foundation.

Well-stocked Aid Stations are located every 20 miles along the course. Aid stations will be filled with GU products, bananas, peanut butter, granola bars, and other great snacks as well as the innovative Breakaway Hydration Trailer for the fastest water fills possible.

Award categories are; Juniors, Pro Men, Pro Women, Open Men, Open Women, Non-Binary, Masters Men

Last Spring, over 1,200 riders enjoyed Gorge Gravel, one of Utah's Premier Gravel Rides & Race last weekend! Dozens of riders enjoyed one of six pace groups for all rider levels, with four groups at Small Gravel and two at Medium Gravel headed by experienced ride ambassadors to make their experience an enjoyable and social able day out.

Afterwards, everyone celebrated in the City Park with a post-ride meal, pint glass and beverages and the Awards ceremonies.

Host Hotel Special Rate

Gorge Gravel participants will receive the special rate of $99 plus tax for any classic room or $129  plus tax for a Barn room at Cousins Country Inn. Riders need to call for reservations and let them know they are coming in for the race to get their discount.  Just call Cousins Country Inn at 541-298-5161.

Tent, RV and Car Camping?

LIMITED tent camping, car camping, RV hookup spots available for rent at the Dufur City Park.  With 50+ tent spots and another 8 full hookup RV spots, you can prepare at the race start right after you roll out of bed!  The cost is $30 for a tent site, $35 per car/truck/van site and $45 for a trailer/RV spot.  Each spot (tent and RV) allows one vehicle. 

Camping is limited and sells out fast so don't delay! You can easily add your camping spot to the BikeReg registration.  If you haven't registered for the Gorge Gravel Grinder, you will see it directly below where you pick your ride distance.  If you have already registered, you can go back into your BikeReg account and add it to your registration.

MAY 31 ~ Sisters, OR

1 day, 41 - 88 miles, 3,100-7,600 feet of climbing

Where is the best place to go gravel cycling near Bend, Oregon? The Cascade Gravel, out of Sisters, is one of the most scenic and diverse gravel events in the country. Ride or race on Sunday's big celebration of gravel and see the stunning variety of high desert terrain with amazing views of the Cascade Mountain Range.

Three Routes: Small 41 miles (3,114 feet), Medium 60 miles (4,980 feet) and Big 88 miles (7,592 feet)

 

Cascade Gravel - MAY 31 2026 ~ Sisters, OR

Cascade Gravel on May 31st, is the second event in the Oregon Gravel Series, one of the most scenic and diverse gravel events in the country.

Located in Sisters, Oregon the event will provide an amazing ride through the Central Oregon high desert and Cascade Mountain Range. Cascade Gravel gives riders a spectacular Sunday ride with three different ride options, challenging riders with the breath-taking climbs within the beauty of Central Oregon Cascade Mountains.

With average temperatures ranging from 50 to 70 degrees in early June, riders can expect comfortable conditions. However, participants should be prepared for cooler temperatures at higher elevations. The Breakaway Team is committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience, with well-stocked aid stations located every 20-25 miles along the course and mechanical support available on-site.

The post-ride festivities will be held at Village Green Park, where riders can unwind at the Lightstrike/New Belgium Post-Ride Celebration. Attendees can look forward to a delicious catered lunch by Spin Catering, music, a beer garden, and a variety of entertainment options to celebrate their accomplishments.

Registration includes chip timing, a commemorative T-shirt, a pint glass, a Cascade Gravel badge, well-stocked aid stations, mechanical support, and a celebratory lunch and beer at the Sunday event. JULY 8-12 ~ Bend, OR

5 days, 250 - 350 miles, 15,000 - 30,000 feet of climbing

The Grand Tour of Gravel for racers and adventure riders!  This five-day event will challenge and reward you, with epic days in the saddle and the celebration of the gravel family each night at camp.  We take care of all of the details and support you on your journey- from tents to gourmet food to professional massage and nightly entertainment- you'll come away sore, accomplished, and with unmatched tales and friendship from the trail.

Two Distances: Settler 250 miles (15,000 feet), Pioneer 350 miles (30,000 feet) - 5 stages

The Oregon Trail Gravel is the undisputed “Grand Tour of Gravel” in the world, America’s Premier Gravel Stage Race.

The all-inclusive Bike Vacation is a five-day event gravel stage race in the hearth of Oregon’s Cascades. . It’s for privateers and adventure riders who want to test their limits and push personal boundaries and attracts riders from over the world with international recognition and participating on the Gravel Earth Series.

Over the course of five days in July, participants will ride through a variety of terrain, from dense forests to wide open valleys, enjoying nature at its finest. This event is not only a test of physical endurance, but also an opportunity to connect with the local community, experience their hospitality, and immerse yourself in the unique culture of the region. 

The 2025 Oregon Trail Gravel stage race takes place June 25-29th, 2025

Riders have the option to pick the following categories:

- Pioneer is around 350 miles with around 30,000 feet of climbing
- Settler is around 250 miles with around 15,000 feet of climbing
- Iron Horse- e-bike category doing the Settler distance
- Tag Team- Tackle the Pioneer distance with one of your best friends and alternate days of riding
- Buddy Package- sign-up with a friend and get the best deal $$ possible- each rider can pick their desired distance (Pioneer or Settler), you get a discount on entry, and a free VIP tent package.

Each night, the camp becomes a place of celebration and camaraderie, creating unforgettable memories. Starting and finishing in the outdoor mecca of Bend, Oregon participants will ride 250 to 350 miles of Oregon’s most scenic and breath-taking gravel roads, with fully-supported fireside campouts and entertainment to rest and refuel each night.
