The top South-African event, Tsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic will be part of Gran Fondo World Tour Series ® 2018 Calendar with a new distance of 146 km, adding an extra loop to the classic route.
October 21st 2018 will be the day for the final event of the world tour, with a half mountain itinerary from Pietermaritzbourg to Durban, to decide the final winners of World Tour ranking being the last event on the calendar. Becoming a decisive point for all cyclists who will be figthing for the $36,000 USD cash prizes that will spread between the top 3 men and women.
Durban and South-Africa offer an amazing venue offering a full weeks package including hosting on the sea front of Durban, offering ammenties for all the family, from Sea Animals park, Surf on the beaches, Safari experience and a visit to the nearest Drakensberg Mountains ,with an opportunity to join the early summer weather th the southern hemisphere.
