More than a ride — it’s a journey through Mexico’s soul.

From October 30th to November 3rd, experience one of the most meaningful and beautiful times of the year in Mexico: Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead.

Rooted in ancient indigenous traditions that honor the cycle of life and death, this celebration blends pre-Hispanic rituals with Spanish heritage, creating a unique cultural expression recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Over five unforgettable days, we’ll ride through the Tequila region, where vibrant colors, marigold petals, and candlelight transform every town into a living work of art. On November 2nd, the Day of the Dead itself, we’ll enjoy a special cycling route that combines nature, culture, and reflection — followed by guided visits to Tequila and Etzatlán, where local families open their doors to share altars, offerings, and stories that celebrate life through remembrance.

We’ll close the experience with an exclusive Día de los Muertos dinner, filled with symbolism, flavors, and emotion — a tribute to Mexico’s deepest tradition and to the riders who journeyed through it.

Day 1:

Bienvenidos a Tequila! Upon arriving at Tequila, meet us at Hacienda El Carmen Hotel & Spa, your room will be ready for you to leave your luggage and chill before our preview session where we will tell you all about the next 5 days at Tequila bike. After our welcome session, we’ll continue with a delicious dinner prepared by a prestigious caterer at the hotel to enjoy the exquisite taste of local cuisine.

Day 2:

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! We’ll begin our exciting tour from the Hacienda, passing through the charming town of Etzatlán, where every corner tells a story. Then, we’ll head toward San Pedro, followed by a beautiful drive to Magdalena. There, we’ll take a magical tour of the town, enjoying its colors and traditions, before taking the highway that will take us to our next destination.

But that’s not all; the adventure continues! As we detour toward La Quemada, the excitement grows as we approach the heart of Magdalena. In the center of town, we’ll delight you with a delicious meal at “Fonda Lupita,” a small restaurant with over 100 years of history, where each dish is prepared with love and dedication.
Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this fusion of landscapes, culture, and flavors. We look forward to seeing you on this wonderful journey!

Day 3:

We’ll continue our journey from Tequila, ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure through the heart of Jalisco. Our day begins with a scenic drive through the agave-covered hills to the base of the impressive Santa Rosa Dam. We’ll descend to the foot of the dam wall and then embark on the third mountain climb of the tour—a challenge worthy of this incredible hike.
From there, we’ll continue to the iconic town of Tequila, home to some of the oldest and most prestigious distilleries in Mexico. We’ll enter through its charming main street, with cobblestone roads and colorful facades, and arrive at the lively main square.
As the sun begins, we’ll visit the legendary Casa Sauza, one of the world’s most historic and celebrated tequila houses. There, we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Mexican lunch in a beautiful setting, followed by a private tequila tasting that showcases the rich and complex flavors of this iconic spirit.
This is more than just a tour — it’s a full sensory experience that connects you to the cultural richness and natural beauty of Jalisco, one pedal stroke at a time.

Day 4:

Get ready to embark on our final grand adventure through the stunning region of Tequila!
After an unforgettable week, we’ll depart from the majestic historic railway station in Etzatlán, built in 1878 and now transformed into a railway museum. From there, we’ll begin our journey along the Vías Verdes of Jalisco — former railroad tracks now turned into a paradise for cyclists.
We’ll ride toward the charming town of Ahualulco, where we’ll briefly leave the Vías Verdes to tackle the famous climb to the Piedra Bola area. This unique site is renowned for the mysterious spherical rock formations that crown the mountaintop — a fascinating geological phenomenon well worth exploring.
From there, we’ll descend into the town of Ameca and rejoin the Vías Verdes, heading toward the picturesque village of La Vega. Our final destination is the magnificent Hacienda El Carmen, where we’ll celebrate the end of our journey with a delicious traditional Mexican meal, surrounded by history and natural beauty.
Don’t miss this final opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture, nature, and magic of the region. Every pedal stroke brings you closer to wonder, connection, and the joy of adventure!
