Join Bicycle Network Tasmania for the annual Women on Wheels Ride, a 20km relaxed recreational ride around the Eastern Shore of Hobart.

This is the eighteenth Women on Wheels ride conducted by Bicycle Network Tasmania (it was formerly known as Kate Tamayo's Tour de Femme).  Enjoy a 20km relaxed ride around Bellerive and the Clarence Foreshore Trail in a friendly social event for women of all ages.  Note - Girls under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

The route is a mixture of offroad bike paths and quiet roads, and is an excellent opportunity for women who haven't ridden on the road before to give it a go in a supportive environment. The route will be signed to minimise the risk of getting lost en route.

Our friends at Ken Self Cycles will be there to offer a free pre-ride bike check, to help make sure cobwebs, squeaks and flat tyres are sorted before we head out.

Clarence Council will be providing free sandwiches and refreshments after the ride :)

We'll meet at the BBQ shelter (near the childrens playground) at the Eastern end of Salacia Avenue, off Correa Street at 10am for registrations and bike checks.

The ride starts at 10.30am.

Please RSVP via our webpage.
