ISIS Terrorist mows down New York Cyclists

At least 8 people were killed after a truck drove the wrong way down a busy bike lane in Central New York on Tuesday

At least eight people were killed and a dozen injured on Tuesday afternoon after a crazed driver plowed through cyclists using a New York bike lane.

The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, an Uzbek national from Tampa, Florida, was reported to have driven down the lane in a preordained attack of violence.

Using a Home Depot rental truck, the driver careered down the wrong way on the West Side Highway bike path, Manhattan, for several blocks causing carnage.

Running adjacent to the Hudson River, the West Side Highway bike path travels closely to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum where the incident took place.

Among the dead were five Argentinian friends who had visited the city as part of a larger group who were celebrating their 30th anniversary of graduating from high school.

Hernán Diego Mendoza, Diego Enrique Angelini, Alejandro Damián Pagnucco, Ariel Erlij and Hernán Ferruchi were all enjoying the sites of the city as part of the trip.

A friend of theirs, Martin Ludovico Marro, was also killed while a Belgian woman who was visiting the city is also said to have been killed. The two other people who were killed are still unidentified.

Saipov was later shot by police officers as he fled the scene carrying a pellet gun and a paintbull gun. A note was also found that claimed the incident happened on behalf of ISIS.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of those who have been tragically taken from us.
