ALÉ's NEW California Kit helps to rebuild after the devastating Northern California Fires
Wear ALÉ's NEW California Kit with pride, showing your support to help rebuild homes and communities devastated by wildfires
The footage from California's wildfires were unpresidented, from animals being set free to flee, to the viral video of a man rescuing a rabbit at the side of a burning freeway, the harrowing scenes sent shockwaves around the world. Over 40 lives were lost and well over 8,700 buildings and homes were destroyed, causing an estimated $1 billion dollars in damage.
The NEW kit comprises Alé’s Light Jersey, which features highly breathable, quick-drying fabric on the front panel, along with three rear cargo pockets and dye cut sleeves, while the sleeves and side panels also utilize a 2-density open thread fabric to ensure optimal protection and maximum ventilation.
Additionally, the back panel and pockets combine a stretchier material for better fit, along with reflective details on the back for added visibility.
The bibshorts feature “high performance and resistance” in the crotch area, thanks to Alé’s compact fabric Finezza 44, while newly shaped dye-cut elastic grippers at the hem of each leg keep things in place.
Comfort comes courtesy of the Italian brand’s Eyelet Carbon front-insert fabric, which is designed to dissipate electrostatic charges, while the micro-perforated fabric and 4H Pad ensure ideal breathability and comfort for long rides in the “saddle”.
Alé will donate $10.00 from the sale of each California Kit to the North Bay Fires fund, which so far has raised an astounding $30 million dollars to provide support for fire survivors.
