Gran Fondo Prince Edward Island

August 25 - August 27 2017
Prince Edward Island, Canada

Prince Edward Island is a beautiful place to ride and we are very pleased to be organizing our 5th annual Gran Fondo.

Our unique combination of scenery and coast-to-coast gran and medio fondo rides, combined with timed climb and sprint sections will offer a challenge to riders of all levels over three days, at beautiful time of year.

On Friday, August 25th, we have a number of ride choices to suit your ability and distance.

On Saturday, August 26th, there will be a 150km gran fondo and a 100k medio fondo to suit your interests and level of training. There will be an opportunity to stop for a lunch or take advantage of our nutrition stops.

Starting in Charlottetown, we will provide lead and support vehicles to assist with traffic and safe passage.

On Sunday, August 27th we have our final rides again with a couple distance options.

Gran Fondo - This is the main ride for the weekend. The distance is 150km. This ride features beautiful scenery, a cost-to-coast route, PEI's National Park, and an optional lunch stop. The gran fondo will be a timed ride with separately timed sprint and climb sections.

Medio Fondo - This is our alternative route for Saturday. We've kept the lunch option, the sprint and climb sections, and reduced the length to 100 kilometers.
