2024 and 2025 European Granfondo Championships awarded to France

One of the most prestigious internationally known cycling events, L'Ardéchoise, in Saint-Félicien awarded Gran Fondo championships for the next two years

In the heart of the Ardèche department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, attracts nearly 15,000 cycling fans from all over Europe and beyond every year,

Enrico Della Casa, President of the European Cycling Union: "Talking about L'Ardèche in the world of cycling is undoubtedly talking about an emblematic event, and the fact that the 2024 and 2025 European Championships will be held in Saint-Félicien “It is a source of pride and satisfaction for our federation.”

After 30 years L'Ardéchoise has perfectly integrated the philosophy of organizing a large cycling event, combining the sporting aspect with tourism, economic impact, promotion of the region, without forgetting the investment in infrastructure and related services.

Cycling has improved the quality of life for the region. This sports tourism draw has been the most profitable in recent years, since cycling became so popular in the last decade.

The 31st edition of L'Ardéchoise will host a mass start Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo in Saint-Felicien on Saturday 15 June 2024 as part of a four-day festival that attracts upwards of 15,000 cyclists from around the world.

The championship competition is open to all riders (European or not) with a UCI recognized racing licence.

UEC European Champion blue-white-yellow jerseys, along with gold medals, will be awarded across amateur age group categories (19-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+) for the first male and female cyclists to cross the finish line.
