Gran Fondo Hincapie Greenville reveals official 2025 courses

The 2025 Gran Fondo Hincapie – Greenville, is back with all the signature flair and scenic splendor riders have come to expect .
The 14th edition of Hincapie-Greenville Gran Fondo, taking place this October 18, 2025 will no doubt be the best yet. This year the event celebrates a special bond between cycling and the community after Hurricane Helene.
Hincapie Events have been hard at work with local and state emergency officials to provide the safest experience for all participants.
The four new courses that start and finish from the picturesque Hotel Domestique are now official.
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, riders will traverse lush countryside, conquer climbs and experience a South Carolina Fall.
From rolling hills to mountain climbs, it’s a course that challenges and inspires—all on a route that’s secured with top-level safety support, including on-course emergency professionals and law enforcement at key intersections.
Guaranteed is you’ll ride one of the most scenic courses in the Southeast, surrounded by thousands of fellow cyclists!
Piccolo Fondo – 15 miles
The Piccolo follows an easy, family-friendly route from Hotel Domestique. This rolling, hilly loop is great for beginners and still includes the beautiful scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Tailored for riders seeking a manageable yet rewarding experience, this route promises both scenic beauty and a taste of cycling challenge.
There’s 1 KOM climb up the Old US 25 Highway back to the finish! The Piccolo is ideally suited for novices, beginners, families and junior riders. Overall awards for the Piccolo ride will be given to the top three aged 14 and under Male and Female.
Medio Fondo – 50 miles
The Medio offers cyclists picturesque views of the Blue Ridge Foothills and takes you through North and South Carolina's picturesque mountains. Enjoy climbing and scenic terrain of a South Carolina fall. Rest and refuel at 2 designated support stations throughout the course.
It includes 2 timed KOM climbs, Callahan Mountain and the one back up to the finish line to celebrate! Overall awards for the Medio will be given to the top three Male and Female.
NEW Grandito! – 60 miles
The new course is a combination of the Gran and Medio courses and includes the legendary climbs of Skyuka and Saluda. There’s two timed KOMs, one at Skyuka and one back up to the finish line to celebrate! Rest and refuel at 3 designated support stations throughout the course.
The new course is ideal for intermediate riders who want a more challenging ride with incredible views. Overall awards for the Grandito will be given to the top three Male and Female.
Gran – 83 miles
Stunning views, challenging climbs, and fast descents await Gran cyclists! Enjoy climbing and scenic terrain of a South Carolina fall.
Gear up for an exciting and demanding cycling experience as you embark on the 83-Mile course with 3 timed climbs including Skyuka, Green River Cove and one back up to the finish line to celebrate!
All designed to test your stamina, improve your cycling skills, and enhance your strategic riding. Rest and refuel at 4 designated support stations throughout the course.
Overall awards for the Gran will be given to the top three Male and Female.
After the ride? You’ll refuel and relax at the Family Festival and Expo at Hotel Domestique, with free food, drinks, and entertainment for all!

Celebrity Chef Dinner
Fuel for the ride ahead. The night before the ride (Oct 17), join the Hincapie family and friends at Hotel Domestique for an evening under the stars sampling culinary creations from the country’s top chefs. Enjoy each course with a glass of wine selected by a master sommelier. While you indulge, take advantage of the intimate setting to speak with chefs and celebrity guests. You might find yourself riding next to them on Saturday!
Gran Fondo Hincapie Greenville After Party
Finish off the weekend with a celebration at Hotel Domestique! Join us for drinks and hors d’oeuvres on Saturday evening (Oct 18) as we share stories about the day and hang out with George and the pros. This party always sells out, so grab your tickets early.
