Greenhorn Gravel Grinder is a new ride, part of the Siskiyou Scenic Bicycle Tour weekend with 2 gravel rides on the Sunday.

Come to the historic mining town of Yreka, California to enjoy a challenging bike ride on some of our most scenic dirt roads with fast and smooth descents. We are offering two great routes. The 63 mile Mother Lode with 6434 feet of climbing or the 39 mile Fool’s Gold with 4281 feet of climbing.

63 mile gravel ride on Sunday,  starting at 9am, to Cram Gulch, over Scarface to Ft. Jones then over Greenhorn Summit back to the park.  Very challenging. 6,474 ft. Elevation gain. Great scenery! Rest stops, sag wagons, end of ride meal and beer for purchase.

39 mile route with 3 steep hill climbs over Greenhorn Summit and back over a slightly different route. You will be challenged. 3 rest stops- at the summit either way and in Fort Jones. 4,115 ft. of elevation gain. Sag wagon support. End of ride meal and entertainment and beer for purchase. Starts at 9am on Sunday from Upper  Greenhorn Park.
