$50 youth pricing extended to U23 at RBC GranFondo Silicon Valley
Everyone under 23 can now enjoy full event perks for only $50 on June 22, 2019
This week, Northern California’s RBC GranFondo Silicon Valley announced a significant update to their youth pricing policy. Riders under 23 will now be eligible to register for only $50 – whilst still receiving the full event perks - up from the previous youth policy mark of U19.
Neil McKinnon of RBC GranFondo Silicon Valley said, “One of our key goals for RBC GranFondo Silicon Valley is to harness the power of cycling as a force for good in empowering our kids in local communities. The event is partnered with three outstanding Bay Area non-profits who work to do exactly that – BizWorld, The Specialized Foundation and Positive Coaching Alliance.
“To further align with these efforts and thanks to feedback from the local community, we have taken the decision to extend our youth pricing policy of $50 to U23”.
“We hope that this change will allow more younger cyclists to experience high-quality cycling events and boost their motivation to stay fit and live healthily.”
These updates have been made live immediately across the event registration platform and U23 riders can sign up now for only $50.
The event also confirmed that all U23 riders who now benefit from $50 entry will still be eligible to receive their Jakroo event jersey. Earlier in the year, it was announced that all riders would receive an official event jersey included in their registration. The jersey has a RRP of $145, making only $50 youth entry an especially attractive deal.
To guarantee sizing, riders should register before May 8, 2019. Event prices also go up on this day – so enter now to save your jersey size and some money.
The event this year is being held on June 22nd, 2019.
