Alta Alpina 8 Pass Challenge

June 30 2018

Come experience the beauty of the Northern Sierra Nevada mountains and Lake Tahoe area at Alta Alpia Cycling Club's annual ride.  Alta Alpina Challenge:  Riding the Wild Sierra offers a ride for everyone.  From the Family Foothill Ride to the Metric, Century, or Double Century, there is a distance for every level of cyclist.  The Build Your Own Ride is another option where you choose the passes you would like to try.  This is a ride organized and put on by cyclists.  We have many well-stocked sag stops with friendly volunteers.  Lunch and dinner are included as well as a Challenge Tshirt and personalized bib number.  The bib commerates the climbs you have finished with a colorful sticker of each pass.  Come enjoy the smooth, low traffic roads with zero traffic lights.  499 rider limit ensures you will have plenty of elbow room to ride!
