Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada
The Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo begins and finishes at the St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino, 10 kilometres north of Cranbrook. The event will have three course options: a Gran Fondo of 152 kms (95 miles with about 1303 metres/4,002 feet of climbing), a Medio Fondo of 102 kms (62 miles with 685 metres/2,250 feet) and a Piccolo Fondo of 58 kms (34 miles with 355 metres/1,167 feet).
The Annual Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo organized by the Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary Club is proud to partner with Taylor Adams (Professional Chrtered Accountants) as our Title Sponsor. Our purpose is to serve as an opportunity for cyclists to participate in a world class Fondo, bring tourists to our region, and raise funds for local charitable endeavours. Our intention is to have the Cranbrook - Kimberley Rails to Trails Society as a recipient of a portion of the event proceeds. Other funds raised through the event will be used to support community projects in our area. We are committed to using local suppliers and businesses to benefit our community.
