Gran Fondo World Tour® presents its expanding 2022 Calendar
After weeks of uncertainly regarding Omicron, the season kickstarts with the Epic Gran Canaria Riu Hotels on February 12-13th with a new Gravel Series to be revealed shortly
The 6th season of the Gran Fondo World Tour® runs from February to November 2022 with lots more destinations. A new gravel series will be added to the global road series in the coming weeks.
New Destinations
There are new events in Indonesia, Turkey and Mexico, with a presence in Central America for the first time, reinforcing the presence in Asia. GFWT also includes new events in Spain with Garraf Penedes and Santa Fe Gran Fondo Experience as as premium travel/touring trip with limited places.
The new gravel series will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Explore the mysterious roads of Central and East Asia, experience the challenging Vermont countryside, ride across South Korean landscapes, enjoy the sunny weather on the Canary Islands or the extreme conditions of ultra racing from Trondheim to Oslo in Norway.
By taking part in the events in the series, riders collect points for the world ranking system of the GRAN FONDO WORLD TOUR ®. The ranking is open to all cyclists, regardless of one’s cycling level. The concept is to build a community of avid cyclists and inspire others to ride.
The GRAN FONDO WORLD TOUR ® philosophy is quite simple: We love cycling, we love to meet new people and to explore the world. Therefore, our wish is to gather unique events in attractive and exciting locations, and make these events more visible to explorational cyclists around the world.
