The man who began it all, Cadel Evans, has confirmed he will be riding his home roads with the people once again in 2023.

The announcement was made possible thanks to the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), who have jumped on board as naming-rights partner for the 2023 TAC People's Ride.

With the long-distance 125km event taking in the sights of Torquay, the Surf Coast and Cadel's home base Barwon Heads, this is one opportunity to hit the roads with a Tour de France champion and an Australian cycling legend.

The TAC have offered their support for the event, with CEO Liz Cairns proud to partner with Cadel and the safe roads message of the event.

"The People's Ride allows us to engage with the cycling community on road safety issues, and to remind all road users to look out for each other and safely share the roads.
