Sofia Gómez Villafane and Lukas Postlberger Triumph at the 2026 Traka 200 Gravel Race

In an exhilarating display of endurance and skill, Austrian Lukas Pöstlberger and Argentinian Sofia Gómez Villafañe  emerged victorious in the elite categories of the Traka 200 gravel race. Covering an impressive 202 km with 2,650 m of climbing, both athletes showcased their exceptional talent in one of the most exciting gravel cycling events of the year.

In the men’s race, former WorldTour road professional Lukas Pöstlberger faced fierce competition from a trio of national off-road champions, including USA Gravel Champion Bradyn Lange, European gravel champion Martin Stošek and European MTB champion Wout Alleman. Pöstlberger attacked near the end of the race clung to a slim lead. The last minutes saw the chasing trio abandon their teamwork, sparking a sprint for second place. Pöstlberger crossed the finish line with a winning time of 6:04:42, with Lange taking second 20 seconds behind.

In the women’s race Sofia Gómez Villafañe and Larissa Hartog broke away early on in the race. With 10 kms to go, Villafañe launched a decisive attack to win in 06:54:42, one minute ahead of Hartog. German Nele Laing finished in third place.
