2026 Bolero Leuven Legacy Gravel Results: Nathalie Bex and Kamiel Notebaert win Big in Belgium

More than 2,000 riders lined up for the sold-out 2026 Bolero Leuven Legacy Gravel, Belgium's largest gravel event and the final round of the Bolero Gravel Series.

The event came just one week after Denmark's Magnus Bak Klaris claimed the UCI Gravel World Championship title in Nannup, Australia, shifting attention immediately toward next year's qualification campaign.

On the 124km championship distance, Belgian riders dominated both elite races. Kamiel Notebaert sprinted to victory in a blanket finish featuring eight riders within seven seconds, while Nathalie Bex edged out Dutch rider Maaike Coljé and Germany's Jil Brünger in an incredibly tight women's finale.

The men's 124km race ended in a high-speed showdown with the top ten riders separated by just seven seconds. Belgian Kamiel Notebaert claimed victory in 3:13:32 ahead of compatriots Olivier Godfroid and Jonas De Fruytier, while former Belgian national champion Arnaud De Lie finished fifth in the stacked lead group.

The women's race was even closer, with the top four riders finishing within two seconds. Belgian Nathalie Bex took the win in 3:43:08, narrowly defeating Maaike Coljé of the Netherlands, while Germany's Jil Brünger rounded out the podium just one second behind the winner.

Germany's Pascal Triebel produced the strongest ride of the day in the 80km race, winning by 36 seconds over Dutch rider Chris Maas. Frenchman Jean-Francois Bresset completed an international podium, while Germany's Andreas Suls was the fastest M65 rider, finishing ninth overall.

Belgium's Annick Van Leuven claimed victory in the women's 80km race, finishing 46 seconds ahead of fellow Belgian Marijke De Smedt.French rider Emmanuelle Farcy secured third place after a strong solo performance.

The race also served as the first European qualifier for the 2027 UCI Gravel World Championships in Haute-Savoie, France, with the top 25% in each age and gender category securing qualification places.
