10 Week Training Plan for the Texas Gran Fondo

Texas Gran Fondo, 5th April, FredericksburgThe Texas Gran Fondo is being held on Saturday 5th April 2014, the Lone Star's Premier Cycling Event.
 
The Texas Gran Fondo has 56 mile Medio Fondo distance for beginners and intemediate road cyclists and a full distance 95 mile Gran Fondo for intermediate and advanced road cyclists who have experience at riding longer distances of 80 miles or more.

If you are new to cycling, always consult your doctor prior to taking up a sport so that they can check out your health and your basic goals. If you are in any doubt then we would advise you consult a professional sports coach before embarking on a rigorous training plan. If you have been cycling for awhile and would like to taek part then this plan would be of benefit to you.
