Gran Fondo National Series announces 2nd Annual e-Fondo Series

GFNS are proud to announce the event schedule for the upcoming 10-event E-Fondo Series, culminating in the E-Fondo Championship Event! 

The second-annual e-sports cycling competition features timed segments and leverages RGT Cycling’s innovative “Magic Roads” to recreate the Series’ real-world courses in a virtual environment.

The E-Fondo Series will run from January 9, 2022 through February 27, 2022 with multiple opportunities for riders to compete on each course, and the opportunity to qualify for the 2022 USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championship event, presented by Applewood Manor, in Asheville, North Carolina on July 17, 2022.

The schedule of events offers both Wednesday and Sunday opportunities for riders to complete events.

Qualify for Gran Fondo National Championships

Riders can qualify for the in-person 2022 USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships, presented by Applewood Manor, through participation and results from the 2022 E-Fondo Series, previous editions of any of the gran fondos below, and select events from the past 18 months.

Additional events may be added to the list at any time, based on Event Organizer’s decision and Gran Fondo National Championship Series Event Qualification Criteria.
