Get your free ticket for Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental and the Euro Mobility Festival
Now available FREE tickets to gain admission to the festival from 22 to 24 September
Although the tickets will be free of charge, they’ll be limited in number, so, given the high demand in recent years, it’s advisable not to leave things until the last minute, as access to the tickets is expected to be closed before the festivals are held. Last year, with almost 60,000 visitors, they were almost full to capacity.
The start of the great international cycling event held every year in Girona is fast approaching. The weekend of 22 to 24 September will witness the seventh Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental and the second Euro Mobility Festival. As in previous years, it will be necessary to gain admission with a ticket to control the entrances.
Admission is free, but you must have a ticket to gain access to the festival in a safe and orderly manner. Your ticket will provide access to the two events for all three days and it will be personal and non-transferable. Children under five years of age do not require a ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.
New feature, extended opening hours
This year, the opening day on Friday will be extended, with the festival opening at 12 noon.
Festival schedule:
· Friday 22 September 2023, from 12 pm to 7:30 pm
· Saturday 23 September 2023, from 9 am to 7:30 pm
· Sunday 24 September 2023, from 9 am to 3 pm
The festival will be held in Girona, next to Fontajau sports hall. In the areas close to the festival there will be free non-supervised parking areas and a free shuttle service from the car parks furthest from the festival will also be provided. There will also be bicycle storage facilities for visitors who choose to cycle to the festival.
A jam-packed sporting programme
A few weeks ago Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental presented the usual wide-ranging sporting programme. This is one of the factors accounting for the success of the festival, with different events in all the cycling disciplines for all types of visitors, from the world’s elite professionals to amateurs and enthusiasts of all ages. Everyone can choose their type and level. Here’s the sporting programme for 2023. Registrations are now open for all of them.
A long list of brands will attend the festival
As usual, a long list of brands of bicycles and accessories will be present at the festival, with all their new products for the coming season and, of course, the demobike test to try out hundreds of bicycles on the test circuits that will be set up for all the kinds of bicycles on display, including the urban transport elements of the Euro Mobility Festival, which will have their own accesses and test circuits this year.

The road cycling tour takes place on Sunday 24th September 2023 as part of the sporting programme of the continent’s largest cycling festival, the Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental
Starting and finishing at Sea Otter Europe in Girona, the famous ride offers a choice of three routes taking in the most captivating landscapes in the Girona region, cycling along the Costa Brava coastline and visiting charming villages on Sunday 24 September 2023.
The longest distance of the La Ciclobrava by Orbea climbs the mountain passes of Sant Grau d’Ardenya, Romanyà, La Ganga and Montjuïc used in La Volta 2019, covering a total of 145 km and 2,000 metres of climbing.
The intermediate distance will reach 100 km and 1,000 metres of climbing, including the mountain passes of Romanyà, La Ganga, Montjuïc and Madremanya.
Finally, the most accessible distance covers a total of 70 km and 800 metres of climbing including the mountain passes of Santa Pellaia, Madremanya and Montjuïc - a perfect option for participants that want to have enough time to visit the festival without loosing the option to participate in th fondo in the morning.
Registration for the La Ciclobrava by Orbea includes participation in the race, a race bib, the official jersey of the seventh edition of the Ciclobrava by Wear Design, access to feed zones along the route and at the finish, as well as medical assistance and final refreshments upon completion.
The La Ciclobrava by Orbea starts and finishes right at the entrance to Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental, so that you can enjoy the festival both before and after the cycle tour. Visit the different stands, see the new products presented by exhibiting brands and take advantage of the bike testing programme offered by brands for visitors.
