Revolutionary Haute Route Infinity Pass unlocks all events for Single Annual Fee

The Haute Route Infinity Pass “fixed fee” model set to revolutionize endurance sports with unlimited access to Haute Route’s roster of 13 global events

Haute Route also announces 2019 Calendar which will see the debut of the Haute Route Oman and the Haute Route Mexico events

All events, no restrictions, one attractive price. The Infinity Pass will give unlimited access to Haute Route global roster of cycling events. For a fixed annual price, riders can experience 13 Haute Route events in 2019 for less than the price of a single 7-day event. This list of prestigious multi-day events is set to visit Oman and Mexico for the first time in 2019.

Commencing in 2019, the Infinity Pass allows for unlimited, unrestricted riding for the 7-day and 3-day Haute Route events in Europe, the Middle-East and the Americas. Riders will have access to more high-quality events than ever before, which events have become world- renowned.

The Infinity Pass was unveiled to the public on August 26th and is now available for purchase. The first phase of the Infinity Pass sales, which was priced at €1250 (appx $1,450) and limited to fifty people, sold-out in two minutes. The second phase of 500 Infinity Passes priced at

€1450 (approx $1,690) is now open and is expected to sell-out by September 15. At that price, it costs less than two regular entries into a three-day event. Once this second phase reaches its 500 Infinity Pass limit, the final Infinity Pass roll-out will be priced at €1750 (appx $2,050) which is only €50 more than a regular entry into a single seven-day event.

Put simply: for nearly the same price as a regular seven-day event or as two regular three-day events - you get to experience all the Haute Route destinations from March to October with no restrictions in entry.

Following the introduction of the Infinity Pass, the Haute Route will open registration for all Haute Route events to non-Infinity Pass holders on Monday, October 8th. The entry fee structure has been simplified, both for 3-day and 7-day events, costing €650 (US$750) and €1450 (US$1,650) respectively as early-bird prices, and then €750 (US$850) and €1700

(US$1,950) respectively as the regular entry fees.

The 2019 Calendar will see the debut of the Haute Route Oman and the Haute Route Mexico events. These new iconic destinations will superbly supplement the existing events which have cemented the Haute Route place as the world's most prestigious multi-dayevents for amateur riders.

The Haute Route Oman, taking place from March 1st to 3rd 2019, will allow the Haute Route peloton to experience a country renowned for its incredible scenery and fantastic riding. The centrepiece of the Haute Route Oman experience will be the magnificent Al Hajar mountain range and the iconic Jebel Akhdar (the Green Mountain), one of the country’s most spectacular locations.

Oman has a well-deserved reputation for the warmth of its welcome, the hospitality of its people and the authenticity of its culture.

From October 18th to 20th 2019, the Haute Route will also arrive in Mexico for the first time giving cyclists the chance to experience the best climbs of Valle de Bravo. Valle de Bravo is considered one of Mexico’s pueblo mágicos (magic towns). From the pine and fir forests carpeting the surrounding hills to the gleaming Lago Avándaro. Though it’s been likened to vacation hotspots like Lake Como, Valle de Bravo offers a quintessential Mexican countryside experience entirely its own.

Following the expansion of Haute Route in North America in 2018, these all-new 3-dayevents herald the global expansion of the Haute Route beyond the shores of its already iconic destinations in Europe and North America. These new and exciting locations are ripe for the cycling community.

Rémi Duchemin, Founder and CEO of the Haute Route Cycling Series, said: “The Haute Route has been a pioneering force in the global endurance sports industry and the launch of the innovative Infinity Pass will cement our position as a leading player in amateur cycling.”

He added. “We felt compelled to take a leadership role in making our cycling experiences available through an innovative pricing model. Cycling is now a truly worldwide phenomenon and we believe that the Infinity Pass will meet cyclist’s dreams to challenge themselves at the most exciting experiences across the globe with the best value proposition in the market.”

Rémi Duchemin concluded: “I’m delighted to expand our Haute Route concept in Middle-East and Central America, and offering the best cycling experiences to our high-end competitive riders coming from 50+ countries.”
