FAQs

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Right here. Or getriding@pedalandspoke.com

Where do I register?

https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pastry-brest-pastry-2018-tickets-42209727431

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we can look it up with an ID.

What is the refund policy?

This ride will be rain(/snow/sleet/hail) or shine. No refunds.

What's the elevation of the course?

Flat. It's Illinois. Your single speed will be fine.

Should I bring spare tubes?

Don't even ask. Just bring them. This ride is completely self-supported!

Should I ride my _______ bike or my ______ bike?

It's up to you. I'd suggest 28c+, but you'll probably curse less if you have 32c+. It's 60%+ unpaved.

Is there a shorter option?

Yes. It's a 25 mile out and back, but with a 10 mile loop at the top. Like a huge, weird-shaped, gravely lolipop with a really bent stick. 25, 50, and 60 miles are all logical distances.
