San Francisco cyclist creates an Amazing Strava Portrait

Latest instalment of Strava art comes from Emily Cheng in San Francisco, USA

Riding 68 miles around the Bay, Emily Cheng managed to create a stunningly clear portrait and even managed to snatch a few QOMs along the way.

Her ride was no walk in the park as it took just under seven hours to complete with an average speed of 10 miles an hour

Given San Francisco’s hilly contours, Cheng did a good job at getting in nearly 6,000 feet in elevation as she rode her way into the art world.

Other notable pieces of Strava art include an incredible rendition of Darth Vader and even a marriage proposal!

Cheng’s efforts served a purpose though as the activity went someway to helping her crack the 1,000 mile barrier for the year so far.

Strava came under fire recently when military personnel were using the activity tracker while on operations at military bases across the Middle East, lighting up the secret bases for the public to see.

We look forward to seeing some more faces from Strava art aficionados in the near future.
