Styrkeproven will host the Gran Fondo World Championship ® Ladies Edition

Gran Fondo World Tour ® Series' big event for Women's Cycling in Norway on June 16, 2018

Between Lillehammer and Oslo in Norway, the Gran Fondo 192 km distance will host the Gran Fondo World Championship ® woman's race. The women only event includes the Styrkepoven Ladies Edition mass start, a woman only peloton designed to promote and encourage woman participating in cycling and Gran Fondo events.

Three special prizes will be available

10% bonus points for the winner counting towards the final ranking of 2018 Gran Fondo World Tour ®

The final top 3 ranking will receive $10,000, 5$,000 and $2,000 USD in cash prizes
Bonus points for all finishers, from 1,100 for the winners and decreasing points back to the final time on the event.

Free travel to Gran Fondo World Tour ® final event for winner. (Including fligths, hotel and registration) to Tsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic in South Africa, next October.

About the Gran Fondo World Tour ®

Gran Fondo World Tour ® is the first Gran Fondo / Cyclosportive world series for passionate amateur cyclists, for the non-professional cyclist.

The series includes quality events on different continents; cycling over the Galibier andMadeleine, Top climbs in “Dolomites”, riding Central Asia Step, South African Natal Zulu Region hills, California coast, Korean mountains, Spanish Sun and Weather or Norwegian lanscapes.

For 2018 the series added the following prizes to improve the range and quality of the world tour as:

  $36,000 USD dolars in proze money for top 3 ranking winners, man and women (road version)
  $10,000 USD for the top man and woman, representing best prize in woman cycling events. $5,000 and 2,000 USD for 2nd and 3rd in the final ranking top 3.
  $6,000 USD in cash prizes for the Gran Fondo World Championship ® Ladies Only
  $6,000 USD in cash prizes for top 3 ranking winners in the MTB / Gravel series
