The Haute Route Alps has carved a name for itself as the toughest amateur cycling race in the world. For the last decade, it has been the ultimate challenge for serious riders.

Described by Cyclist Magazine as “leg-shredding and life-changing in equal measure”, the flagship event of the Haute Route Cycling Series is a challenge like no other. The course is packed with bucket list climbs made famous by the Tour de France, plus a host of cols over 2,000 metres above sea level. The crown jewel in the Haute Route calendar gives you the rare opportunity to pin on a number and test yourself on many of the world’s most famous climbs as well as long, point-to-point stages. This year, highlights will include an extraordinary Queen stage, plus a time trial in one of cycling’s most celebrated destinations.

The Haute Route Alps is a serious challenge. And it deserves serious support. Haute Route has become famous for its on and off-bike services, which are truly unlike anything else. This is the event they were made for. After amazing days on the bike, take advantage of the amenities in some of France’s most famous ski resorts. Relax between stages with a post-ride meal, daily massage, and stress-free accommodation packages. On the road, you’ll enjoy the support of professional mechanics, French Gendarme moto escorts, staffed feed stations, and SAG vehicles. A seven-day event is a major undertaking. You focus on riding; we’ll handle literally everything else.

Haute Route Alps finishers share a special bond. You will spend a full week surrounded by a diverse peloton of competitive and encouraging fellow cyclists. This event sells out every year, so you'll be part of a select group of like-minded people. Join our online community to connect with other men and women before, during, and after the event.
