Gran Fondo World Tour ® expands with Andorra MTB and Gravel Bike Race ®
The Andorra Bike Race ® is an MTB and Gravel stage race, starting and finishing in Andorra, with Andorra La Vella the hosting village
With the support of the Andorra La Vella Municipality as the Institutional Sponsor, the city will host the start and finish for 3 days, offering participants 3 different stages; a prologue, stage 1 and stage 2, across two Ski areas of Andorra, crossing the Vallnord Bike Park (Host of UCI world Cup and MTB world championship) and second stage across theGrandvalira Ski Resort (host of FIS Ski World Cup events).
The stages will be take place on October 12-14, 2018:
October 12: General participant briefing and Prologue stage Octover 13: Stage 1 (KOM stage) 80 km and +3.500 mts uphill
(Vallnord Bike Park + Pyrenees natural parc , developed between Andorra and Spain)
October 14: Stage 2 40 km +2.000 mts uphill
(Grandvalira Ski Area Track)
The host village area will be open October 11 to 14 with floor space for bike brands and local partners, with animation, music and a food court. Located in city center of Andorra la Vella, will host the start-finish line, with mechanical assistance, and a bike park.
Hotel packages are offered with registration, operated by Grandvalira Booking Center, all within walking distance of the host village.
