Source Endurance & Legion of Los Angeles Partner for a One-of-a-Kind Criterium Camp

Source Endurance and the Legion of Los Angeles have teamed up for a one-of-a-kind three-day criterium camp February 8-10, 2019

This three-day criterium camp covers criterium racing from every angle with film study Friday, skills and tactic work Saturday to apply Friday’s learnings, and putting it all together Sunday with Roger Millikan Memorial Criterium with real-time feedback from the camp mentors. The weekend’s experience will be limited to twenty riders to guarantee intimate opportunity to learn from some of the nation’s best sprinters.

The camp kicks off Friday with a film study. The best learning in sport happens not in the heat of battle but in the comfort of your chair as you watch game film.  Film study is crucial to every professional and elite level sport.  Friday the camp will utilize first person footage from Legion of Los Angeles riders Justin and Cory Williams as well as SE coach Zack Allison to analyze key race events from the best vantage point.

Saturday will focus on skills and tactics, applying take-aways from Friday’s film study. It’s no mistake that soon to be Legion of Los Angeles riders have been dominant in SoCal races.  In 2018, they won more races from break-aways than field sprints as well as PRT races and Elite National Championships.  SE coach Zack Allison showed his mettle in California winning the San Rafael Criterium and third overall at USA Crits in 2018 with the USA Crits Best Team, Clif Bar Cycling.  Campers will learn how these athletes train and how to leverage race strategy into tactics to outperform the competition in races.

Sunday campers will put everything together at Putting everything together at Roger Millikan Memorial Criterium (entry included) with real-time feedback from the camp mentors. Campers will depart camp with a level-up knowledge of criterium racing.

The camp is priced at $250 and is limited to 20 riders. Interested athletes should head to the Source Endurance Criterium Camp p/b Legion of Los Angeles page for more details and to sign up.
